The Oak Creek-Franklin dis- trict isn't alone. Sixty-one school districts in Wisconsin will seek over $14 billion in referendums this November. If they pass at the rates seen in recent years, 2018 could be the highest year on record for dollars raised by school district referen- dums, according to a new report by the Wisconsin Policy Forum. Elsewhere in Milwaukee County, Wauwatosa taxpayers are debating a $125 million school dis- trict referendum.
