October 12, 2018 • Milwaukee County Post • 3 MILWAUKEE — Foxconn Technology Group has set a series of hiring fairs around the state to find potential workers for the sites it is cre- ating in Wisconsin. The company is seeking to recruit candidates interest- ed in a variety of job posi- tions, according to an announcement. The hiring fairs will provide members of the public the opportuni- ty to meet with Foxconn offi- cials to learn more about available jobs and schedule interviews with hiring man- agers on-site. "Foxconn has seen a high level of interest at the veter- an, college and public career fairs that we have been attending, and an influx of candidates who want to join our company and contribute to the development of cut- ting-edge technological proj- ects," said Alan Yeung, Foxconn director of U.S. Strategic Initiatives, in a statement. "As we continue to accelerate efforts to build our diverse and talented workforce in Wisconsin, we are pleased to host our first hiring day in Mount Pleasant, where just three months ago we celebrated the groundbreaking of our state-of-theart Wisconn Valley Science and Technology Park. We look forward to engaging with many interested candidates at the statewide hiring days, and welcoming successful applicants to our growing Wisconsin team and opera- tions." The company seeks to hire several hundred workers in different areas and with a variety of skill sets, such as human resources, hardware, software and firmware engi- neering, finance and accounting, legal, business analysis, graphics and inte- rior design, construction management, and sales and marketing.
