Lost dog; city looks f or owners OCONOMOWOC – A female black dog with a white chest and white front paws was recently found in the 900 block of Concord Road in Oconomowoc. It was wearing a nylon collar, but no tags. Anyone interested in claiming or adopting this dog should contact the Oconomowoc Police Department at 567-4401. Olympia to host indoor golf league OCONOMOWOC – An indoor golf league is scheduled for Jan. 14 through May 13 at Olympia Resort. The playoff date is May 20 and the cost for the league is $120 per person or $480 for a team of five members. There are men's, women's and youth leagues available. Town collects food along with taxes TOWN OF OCONOMOWOC – Bring in your taxes and nonperishable food items. There is about a month left to bring in your taxes to Town Hall, and as part of the tax collection season, the town clerk is collecting nonperishable food items for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry . The donations will help stock the shelves after the pantry's busy holiday season. Tax collection runs through Jan. 31. Kuglitsch sworn in MADISON – Mike Kuglitsch, R-New Berlin, was sworn in as the state representative for the 84th Assembly District for the second time on Monday . Last month, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, RRochester, appointed Kuglitsch to be chairman of the State Affairs Committee, and vice chairman of the International Trade and Commerce Committee. Kuglitsch also was appointed to the committees on jobs and economy, workforce development, and labor. Milwaukee Bucks offer tickets for reading OCONOMOWOC – The annual Milwaukee Bucks Library Reading Challenge is starting at the Oconomowoc Public Library . Children in third through 10th grade can pick up a special scorecard at the library, 200 South St., on which they will keep track of the pages they read. When they reach 500 pages, they get a voucher for a free ticket to a Milwaukee Bucks game, where they will also receive a special Tshirt. Kids who read 750 pages become "Overtime Readers" and enter special drawings at the game they attend. All scorecards are due at the library by Feb. 27. For more information, call 569-2193. 48.
