CHARLES RAY BANNING "VERN" Mr. Charles Ray Banning, "Vern", age 58, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on August 8, 2018. Mr. Banning was the son of the late Charlie Young Banning. He is survived by his mother, Jane Blake Banning; children, Jeremy Banning, Jennifer Banning, Ray Banning, Katie Higgins and her husband, Scott; nine grandchildren; one brother, David Banning; and one sis- ter, Anita Marlowe. SARAH ELIZABETH "LIB" JONES BOLTON Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth "Lib" Jones Bolton, age 90, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on August 8, 2018. Mrs. Bolton was the widow of Charles Bolton and the daughter of the late Gilbert Jones and Nola Holt Jones. She is survived by one son, Reggie Bolton and wife, Connie of Blacksburg; one daughter, Libby Bolton Sarratt and husband, Mike of Blacksburg; four grand- children; three great-grand- children; a sister-in-law, Nell Jones; a brother-in-law, Don Bolton and wife, Modenia; and a sister-in-law, Jewell Parker. In addition to her husband and parents, Lib was preced- ed in death by two brothers, Bill, and wife, Mildred "Mutt" Jones and Wayne Jones and a brother-in-law, Gene Bolton and wife, Nancy.
