The parade will feature 22 homes in three subdivisions — Brookfield's Lily Crossing, Sum- mit's Lake Country Village, and Sussex's Hidden Hills. Each subdivision will feature homes within a certain price point, starting at around $300,000, said MBA President Jonathan Synovic, adding that all homes featured in the Parade are models for sale. Upwards of 25,000 people attend the event each year, said Parade of Homes Chairman Scott Thistle. Thistle, who has owned Halen Homes, a home-building company in Brookfield, for 10 years and has been building homes for 20 years, said he's in the process of working on a "farmhouse chic"-style house with lots of black and white, and rustic touches to be featured in the parade. However, other home styles — including lodge and lakehouse — will be represented in the parade, Thistle said. "We have different builders that do different styles," he said.
