GRAFTON — Grafton's farmers market is taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Thursdays in Veterans Memorial Park, 13th Avenue and Washington Street, Grafton. In addition to the freshest local produce, the market offers cut flowers, fresh eggs, herbs, honey, specialty canned goods, maple syrup, bakery, popcorn, cheese curds and more. Come for lunch – Mel's Charities will be serving up pork sammies, hamburgers and brats weekly, with all proceeds benefiting Mel's Charities. There are also several food trucks, and don't forget cupcakes for dessert. During the market, the Grafton Library will have StoryTime, Song and Rhyme at 11 a.m.; the chamber is partnering with Riveredge Nature Center for kayaking during the market, and also Aug. 19 and Aug. 30. Cedarburg Makers & Growers Market makes its appearance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays through Oct. 12 in the Cedarburg Cultural Center parking lot off of Washington Avenue and Mill Street, Cedarburg Vendors include craftsmen, plants and a sharpening service in addition to produce; food trucks are onsite. On a rotating basis, vendors include Avian Inspirations, Brew City Pickles, Buddha's BBQ, Butlers Produce, The Cupcake-A-Rhee LLC, Curd Nerd, Eagle Point Gardens, Eagle Point Sharpening and free-range eggs, Hope of the Heart, J & J Services popcorn and spices, Nacho Dog, Oberweis Dairy, Pigeon Creek Nursery, Seven Hills Honey, Silver Moon Springs, Swiss Frau Farm Products LLC, Wading Bear Bread and Wild Asparagus Soap LLC.
