I know I have been enjoying the return of summer here in upstate NY, with hot and humid temperatures that we have not had in a couple years. Enjoy it while it lasts. is month's feature is an interest- ing one. It is an interview with Keisha Dixon. Keisha is otherwise known as "e Tapping Queen." What is "tapping" you ask? "Emo- tional Freedom Technique (EFT)" commonly referred to as Tapping, is simply put, an acupressure tool, a clinically proven mind-body tool, the only clinically proven mind- body tool that turns off, shuts down and actually deregulates the fight or flight response, which is also called the stress response. In her interview she discusses the process and provides an example of an actual tapping sesssion. I hope you find Keisha's inter- view enlightening. I also hope it helps you deal with the traumatic stresses of today's world, and the toxic political climate we are now experiencing. Anything that helps us escape the negativity around is and has us delve inside ourselves is a great thing. is month's issue welcomes a new columist - Joey Amato of Pride Journeys. He will be telling us about his travels to many cities and other places that are queer friendly. Joey's first journey is to the City of Houston, Texas.
