That includes Bay View, St. Francis and Cudahy. The new Bay View, Cudahy, St. Francis Kiwanis Club is looking for at least 15 members so it can continue and expand its service projects, said Krause, the club president. "I remember the Bay View Club, and St. Francis dissolved about 10 years ago, and six years ago they already had the name St. Francis in the Cudahy Club," Krause said. "Why don't we incorporate Bay View?" Which the club did this year, the 82nd year for the Cudahy club and the 100th for Kiwanis in Wisconsin. "There are a lot of great people in Bay View who give back to the community," she said. "We'll go out to the businesses in Bay View, St. Francis and Cudahy to see if they'll join us." The local club's activities include giving food baskets to those in the community who are in need. But it's the Reality Check financial day and the health fair at Cudahy High School as well as sponsoring the Key Club at the school that Krause really likes to talk about. "I think our kids need our help more than ever, and that they have a future beyond high school, and they need to hear to take care of themselves," she said.
