Published weekly. (USPS 604-340) NEWS BRIEFS Veale Creek Theatre to have movie night this Saturday Veale Creek Theatre will be having Community Movie night this Saturday, May 19. The Muppets Mov- ie (G) will be shown at 3 p.m. and the Raising Arizo- na (PG-13) at 7 p.m. One Saturday a month there will be movies at Veale Creek Theatre. There will be two films, a movie aimed at kids that will show at 3 p.m. and other classics at 7 p.m. for adults or families. The goal is to show nostalgic films that families can enjoy together. Tickets are $5 each. We will also have con- cessions available. Free Community meal at The Gathering Place May 20 There will be a Free Community meal at The Gath- ering Place, 207 Lafayette Street, Winslow, Sunday, May 20 from 5 -6:15 p.m. There will also be a Praise and Worship service at 6:20 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come for dinner and dessert. James Capozella photos Horrall's drawing places second in wildlife art contest Pike Central High School sophomore Jenna Hor- rall recently entered the statewide Muscatatuck Wildlife & Refuge Center's art drawing contest and won second place with her drawing of a Fulvous Whistling Duck and her Duckling. Horrall's draw- ing will be on display throughout Indiana's Wildlife & Refuge Centers for the next year.
