Mar. 12-16: I-READ 3 testing. I- READ is an evaluation of reading skills for students in grade 3. Mar. 16: End of third grading pe- riod. Mrs. DeCoursey and the fifth grade teachers will be taking our 5th grade stu- dents to experience the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. St. Patrick's Day. Mar. 19: Mr. Ashworth, band di- rector for Pike Central, will be here at 1 p.m. to talk to the 5th grade students about band. Mar. 19-22: Book Fair! Students will be visiting the Book Fair during their regular library time. The book fair will be open for families during Grandparent's Day Mar. 22: Grandparents' Day. Grades K-2 will begin their programs at 9 a.m. Grades 3-5 will begin their programs at 1 p.m. The programs will take place in the gym. You may visit the K-2 classrooms af- ter the K-2 program. You may visit the 3-5 class- rooms after the 3-5 pro- gram.
