Men's custom clothier Alton Lane celebrated the grand opening of their Newbury Street store on October 10 with a catered evening affair. Alton Lane owners Colin Hunter and Peyton Jenkins invited guests to enjoy hors d'oeuvres from Max Ultimate Catering, including miniature crab cakes, sesame chicken chopsticks, Parmesan chervil gougères, and truffle mushrooms in a potato box. Lynne Kortenhaus, Dan Mullin, and Prataap Patrose celebrated with John Daly Bourbon Apple Ginger Smash cocktails designed exclusively for Alton Lane, as well as a scotch tasting with clients. Guests, including Miguel de Braganca, Jackie and Todd MacDowell, and Tyler Hardy, were served mini lobster rolls, caprese skewers, and tuna tartar from Jasper White's Summer Shack. The three specialty drinks were The Prep margarita, the vodka-based The Mod, and The Boxer for rum-lovers. Also in attendance were designer Michael Bastian, CEO David Arbuthnot, and public relations director Douglas Geller. Guests took away gift bags from the opening.
