The Biblical story of the Nativity is
told from a four-legged perspective
when donkey Bo (Yeun) runs away
from the miller that owns him and
ends up traveling with Joseph
(Levi) and a pregnant Mary (Rodri-
guez) in the months before Jesus's
birth. Along with a dove named
Dave (Key), a sheep named Ruth
(Bryant) and a trio of camels, the
donkey makes the journey from
Nazareth to Bethlehem with many
adventures along the way, un-
aware of the significance of his
traveling companions.
