The Press-Dispatch Church Wednesday, Februar y 7, 2018 C- 3 tle damage to be repaired but lots of clean up and placing things in order. If you would like to help show up and grab a project. Our sermon Sunday was about those people who are biased to their own opinions and how you could never be right around them. Often times these people offend us with their attitudes and smugness but no matter how upset we become there is little that we can do about their attitudes. You can howev- er try to control your atti- tudes and choose not to act on your upset. We should choose to walk away and leave them with their folly. Very hard to do if you have a temper but very reward- ing if you put away your feelings. As always be blessed and be a blessing. SOMETHING NEWSWORTHY? This Sunday's sermon ti- tle is: "Jesus, God's Creative Word." Scripture reading: John 6:16 -23. Theme statement: Christ demonstrated his pow- er over all things when he walked on the water. Jesus will come to us today walk- ing across the sea of life to where we are. This proves that there is nothing that we are going through that he cannot save us from. There are three ways Je- sus proves his creative pow- er. 1. When Jesus comes to us. 2. When Jesus helps us. 3. When Jesus saves us. Leon Pomeroy, Pastor ZOAR U.M. CHURCH 8818 W.
