Commissioners opened bids for mowing Old Town Cemetery in Pe- tersburg, next to the library, and Coleman Cemetery in Monroe Township. Alan Tegmeyer and Tri- ple J Lawn Services submitted bids on both cemeteries. Tegmeyer's bids were $ 88.50 for each mowing of each cemetery. Triple J bid $ 90 for Old Town and $ 80 for Coleman. Commissioner Jeff Nelson vot- ed in agreement with Davis. Com- missioner Ryan Coleman was not at the meeting. Treasurer Marta Query asked the commissioners for their approval to close her office on March 7 so her staff could attend a training session in Indianapolis. "'I don't have a problem with that. Just post it," said Davis. The commissioners voted to ap- point Pike County Jail Commander Brian Maxwell to the Wabash Val- ley Community Corrections Board. They also appointed Ryan Coleman, Jeff Nelson and Kristi Dischinger to the Redevelopment Commission.
