WILLIAM "BILL" LEE BREIDENBAUGH William "Bill" Lee Breidenbaugh, 87, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2018, after a lengthy illness. He was born on April 14, 1930, to Ira and Maude ( Wil- son) Breidenbaugh in Vin- cennes. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Huffman on June 15, 1950. He retired from Johnston Control in Vincennes. He was a member of the UAW and the Petersburg Moose Lodge 1617 and Lodge 120. He loved to hunt, fish, play pool, hunt pecan and hick- ory nuts, and watch the birds at his feeder outside his window. He was also an adamant fan of the St. Lou- is Cardinals, Indiana Pacers and Colts. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Mona (Rocky) Patrone, of Mon- roe City, and Brenda (R.A.) Kinion, of Sand Springs, Ok- la.; grandchildren, Melanie (Erik) Dabrowsky, Chris Kinion and Terry Potts; and great-grandchildren, Vivian and Xander Dabrowsky. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, William Joseph Breidenbaugh; and sister, Laura "Toots" Boggs. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 at Harris Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Wal- nut Hills Cemetery. Wehr, 64, of Ire- land, passed away at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Memorial Hospi- tal and Healthcare Center in Jasper. He was born in Jasper on September 25, 1953, to Jo- seph and Anna Marie (Buec- hler) Wehr. He was a U.S. Marine Vet- eran and a member of the Southern Indiana Leather- necks # 931, and the Amer- ican Legion Post #147. He retired as a truck driver for Henke Farms in Holland. He had also previously worked for Elmer Buchta Trucking in Otwell. He was a member of the Otwell Ruritan Sled Team and a past member of the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175. Surviving are two sisters, Kathy Rinderknecht, of Ire- land, Ind., and Kristy James, of Ferdinand; one brother, Kenny Wehr, of Birdseye; stepmother, Mary Wehr, of Ireland; two nieces and two nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; one broth- er, Randy "Tinker" Wehr; one sister, Louise Wehr, who died in infancy; and a broth- er-in-law, Charles Rinder- knecht. A Mass of Christian Buri- al was at 11 a.m. on Tues- day, January 9, 2018, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ireland, with burial follow- ing in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #147 conducted military graveside rites. A visitation was from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the church. The Southern Indiana Leath- ernecks Detachment # 931 conducted a memorial ser- vice at 10 :30 a.m. at the church. (HAM) FALLS Angela S. (Ham) Falls, 67, of Oakland City, peacefully entered into rest surround- ed by family on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Deaconess Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born on April 26, 1950, to Delbert and Wilma (Bolin) Ham, who preceded her in death. She is survived a sister, Debbie (Ham)(Clifford) Dockery, of Hartford, Ky.; a brother, Roger (Gale) Ham, of Petersburg; her children, daughter, Michelle (Myers) (Curtis) Genco, of Peters- burg, son, Ronald Myers, of Los Angeles, Calif., son, Del- bert Wayne(Susan) Myers, of Arthur, son, David (Cari) Roe, of Princeton, and son, Darrell Falls, of Oakland City; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bertis Wayne Falls, in 2013. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 10 a.m. (EST) at Riv- er of Life Church, 342 County Rd 300, Petersburg, with fel- lowship to follow. PEAVLER Delores M. Peavler, 87, of Princeton, formerly of Fran- cisco, entered rest on Sun- day, Jan. 7, 2018, at The Wa- ters in Princeton. She was born on April 21, 1930, in Keensburg, Ill., to Elze Claud and Dessie Ann (Lowell)Peavler. She was a cook for several years at Johnson Restaurant and was a homemaker. She was very proud of her fami- ly, which always brought a smile to her face. She is survived by sons, Tim Peavler, of Francisco, and Randy Peavler, of Gray- ville, Ill.; one granddaugh- ter; two great-grandsons; and a sister, Minnie Dos- sett, of South Haven, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents; sis- ter; seven brothers; grand- son, Benjamin; and her hus- band, Fred Peavler. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the Lamb-Bash- am Memorial Chapel, with burial in Francisco Ceme- tery. Rev John Peach will be officiating. ONGE Dorothy St. Onge, 91, of Jasper, passed away Mon- day, January 8, 2018, in Jas- per. She was born in Otwell on January 24, 1926. Dorothy was the seventh of eight chil- dren of Della Mae (Sweet) and Pearl Garrison. She graduated from Ot- well High School in 1944, and attended and graduated from Evansville Beauty Col- lege. In 1951, she married Leo Albert St. Onge, from Massachusetts. From 1953- 1960, they lived in Georgia, Kansas, Germany and Colo- rado. She retired from Crane Naval Depot in 1976. Con- dolences may be shared at: www.nassandson.com. LORENE MAY JEWELL Lorene May Jewell, 95, of Otwell, passed away at 6:14 p.m. on January 6, 2018, at the St. Charles Healthcare Center in Jasper. She was born January 15, 1922, in Bedford, to Homer and Blanche (Hawk) Rob- bins. She married George Ed- ward Jewell in 1954, and he preceded her in death. She was employed at Crane, Spring Mill State Park and was a custodian at Burris Elementary School in Mitchell. Survivors include three daughters, Karen White, of Bloomington, Lucille Willis, of Otwell, and Georgia Sons, of Orleans; one son, Les- lie Robbins, of Carpenters- ville, Ill.; a stepson, Bernard Lee Jewell, of New Albany; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Robbins, Victor Robbins and Leslie Robbins; and a sister, Winnie Robbins. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Janu- ary 10, 2018, at the Queen- Lee Chapel in Shoals, with Rev. John Moffitt officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Springs Cemetery. DeBord, 57, of ru- ral Hazleton, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville. He was born on Sept. 21, 1960, in Princeton, to Ralph and Sylvia "Tibby" DeBord. He had lived in rural Ha- zleton for the past 27 years, moving there from Princ- eton. He had worked for DeBord Greenhouse and was the owner operator of DeBord Landscape Ser- vice for 37 years. He was a 1978 graduate of P.C.H.S. and received an Associ- ate's Degree in Horticul- tural Technology from Vin- cennes University. He en- joyed spending time with his family and friends, es- pecially his grandchildren. He enjoyed working and be- ing outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Monica DeBord, of Hazle- ton; parents, Ralph and "Tibby" DeBord, of Princ- eton; son, Nathan ( Vanes- sa) DeBord, of Owens- ville; two daughters, Lind- sey (Stephen) Walden, of Princeton, and Leah (Calvin King) DeBord, of Hazleton; two grandchildren; broth- er, Larry DeBord; father-in- law and mother-in-law, Rob- ert and Mary Ann Morris, of Haubstadt; several niec- es, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. ROSET TA JANE ROBLING Rosetta Jane Robling, 83, passed away on January 1, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway. She was a member of Spurgeon United Methodist Church. Her family, children and grandchildren were so important to her. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and those who knew her. Rose is survived by her children, Rosa (Ernie) Wil- hite, Debbie (Russell) Pe- ters, Angie (Dean) Froman, Leslie (Rhonda) Robling and Alan Robling; nine grand- children; 13 great-grandchil- dren; five great-great-grand- children; and sister, Beverly Briggeman. DALLAS MILLER Dallas Miller, 91, passed away at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City on January 8, 2018. He was born in Pike Coun- ty on March 9, 1926, to Jo- seph L. and Bernice M. (Loveless) Miller. He was a 1945 graduate of Winslow High School and married Rose Shafer on May 13, 1954. He resided most of his life in the Oakland City area. He worked at International Har- vester for 10 years before his employment with Blackfoot Coal Company as a coal min- er, and later became a pit boss at Old Ben Coal Com- pany, retiring after 32 years. He was well-known in the ar- ea for selling over 200 wood burning stoves. He enjoyed cutting firewood, garden- ing, horse races, hunting, and since 1988, was owner and operator of Miller Hard- ware in Oakland City. He is survived by two sons, Tim and Tom Miller; and many nieces and neph- ews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, To- ny Miller; infant brother, Joe; and two sisters, Jessie Ruth Boyd and Beulah Bell. Visitation will be Thurs- day, January 11 from 4- 8 p.m. (Gibson County) at Lamb-Basham Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, January 12 at 10 a.m. (Gibson County) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Rev. Darin Nos- sett will be officiating. LISA D. MYERS Lisa D. Myers, 48, passed away on Friday, January, 5, 2018, at her home in Otwell. She was born in Wash- ington on March 9, 1969, to Steven Bough and Charma (Myers) Jeffers. She worked as a swatch- er at Leed Tools in Ireland, Ind. She loved the outdoors, camping and campfires. She was an avid sports fan, es- pecially NASCAR. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. She was born to the late Leon and Virginia Briody on December 7, 1957, in Vin- cennes. She was employed as a direct care staff member at PCARC, and she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Ansel Sullivan, of Petersburg; daughters, Megan (Luke) Howard, of Petersburg, Morgan (An- drew) Carrico, of Winslow, and Mande Sullivan, of Pe- tersburg; 11 grandchildren; a brother, William Briody; and a sister, Ginger Rams- burg. MARY LOU STURGEON Mary Lou Sturgeon, 83, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at her residence. She was born November 24, 1934. She was married to Shirley Sturgeon, and he preceded her in death. She attended Brenton Chapel Church of Christ. She was a retired school teacher, farmer, and devot- ed mother and grandparent. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy ( Jerry) Miller, of Bedford; two sons, Mike (Sheila) Sturgeon, of Winslow, and Mark Stur- geon, of Petersburg; sev- en grandchildren, Yavonne (Barry) Dorsey, of Venice, Fla., Tabby (Ben) Brownell, of Greencastle, Ind., Justin ( Jonni) Miller, of Lafayette, Jason (Laura) Sturgeon, of Eagleville, Tenn., Jenni (Adam) Sederlund, of Sum- ter, S.C., Jordan Sturgeon, of Winslow, and Matt (Katie) Miller, of Indianapolis; sev- enteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Norma Willis and Anna Nicholson, both of Petersburg, Judy Dyson, of Hamilton, Ohio, and Karen Hudson, of Newburgh; and many nieces and nephews. Harris Funeral Home was entrust- ed with her care. JODY D. WILLET T Jody D. Willett, 52, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday, Janu- ary 2, 2018, in I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indi- anapolis. He was born September 9, 1965, in Louisville, Ky., to Joseph M. Willett and Mary Lou (Keith) Willett. He graduated from Pike Central High School Class of 1983 and also from Franklin College in 1987 with a Busi- ness Degree. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Bedford in manufacturing. He loved listening to, writ- ing and playing music, and greatly enjoyed playing mu- sic on his guitar. Survivors include his sib- lings, Thomas M. Willett, of Paoli, and Julie (Myron) ( Willett) Lamar, of Jason- ville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Mary Willett; siblings, Mary Jean Willett, Don Wil- lett, Bobby Willett, James Willett; and grandmother, Lil Barenier. Arrangements are en- trusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home in Jason- ville. Cremation was chosen and no visitation or funeral services are scheduled. A memorial service will be at a later date. SAR A ELIZABETH FOWLER Our dear sweet, Sara Eliz- abeth Fowler, of Glezen, at the very young age of 51, lost her battle with cancer but won her victory in Jesus on January 3, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born March 13, 1966, in East Chicago, Ind., to James and Mary (Baker) Killion, both of whom pre- ceded her in death. She had lived in Pike County since 1990 and worked at Hucks in Peters- burg for several years. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mike Fowler, of Glezen; one son, Shane Fowler; one daugh- ter, Samantha (Matt) Hay- craft; one cherished grand- son, Colten McCollom, all of Petersburg; one broth- er, Chuck (Debbie) Killion of Petersburg; two sisters, Peggy (Ernie) Keeton, of Winslow, and Kathy ( Jerry) Moore, of Greenup, Ky.; one sister-in-law, Kevina Scher- er, of Olney, Ill.; many niec- es and nephews; and count- less friends. She will be sadly missed, never forgotten and forever loved.
