Dekora St., Saukville For carry-out requests, call 262-284-2787 before 11 a.m. Aug. 16 through Sept. 19 "Fluid Forms: Sculpture of Dennis Heimbach and David Valentine" Where: Cedarburg Art Museum, W63 N675 Washington Ave., Cedarburg "Fluid Forms" features the sculptural work of Dennis Heimbach, Middleton and David Valentine, Sturgeon Bay. Heimbach's gracefully attenuated, sweeping forms in stainless steel closely relate to the art of dance and music. By contrast, Valentine's steel forms show a natural oxidation, creating a rich, dark brown finish on his works. Valentine's sculptural forms show a strong sense of flowing movement and also precise geometry. This exhibition is viewable every day in daylight hours in the museum's garden setting. Aug. 16 through Dec. 3 "Lace: Works of Adornment" and "In Death" exhibits Where: Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts, N50 W5050 Portland Road, Cedarburg The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts is the new custodian of the Lois Markus Lace Collection, a private collection consisting of hundreds of pieces of lace. A collection born of love, Lois Markus meticulously handpicked the pieces over the span of 30 years during her many travels between the United States and Europe. The bluntly titled exhibition "In Death" features more than 20 contemporary fiber artists from across the U.S. "In Death" lays bare the realities and explores the mysteries associated with the end of life.
