This week PAWS is featuring a daunting young feline named Tarzan, who can often be seen climbing, jump- ing and swinging from objects in the office at PAWS, as if it were his own little jungle. He has golden fur with white accents, large to- paz eyes and is approxi- mately 14 weeks old and can be adopted, by call- ing 812-354-9894. "Through wisdom a house is built, and by understand- ing it is established" (Prov- erbs 24:3). The family is the most important institution in the world. It was God's idea in the first place. It was not the invention of sociologists or economics or government bureaucrats who decided it would make society operate more smoothly. Families ex- isted before cities and gov- ernments, before written language, nations, temples and churches. In the home, character and integrity are formed, values are made clear and goals are set. These last a lifetime. And if they aren't formed correctly that, too, will result in patterns—bad patterns—that last a life- time, if God doesn't inter- fere. Today, Satan is attacking the family as never before. But where are our defenses NEW LIBERTY G.B. CHURCH (Coe) 1820 S. Co Rd. 800 S. "Children are a gift from God; they are His reward" (Psalm 127:3). Today, there are more pressures on the home than perhaps at any other time in history of the human race. By necessity or by desire, more women are working today than ever before. Ma- ny feel guilty about leaving their children in the care of others or having them re- turn to an empty home while they are at work. But many women (and men, too) still devote more attention to their working life than they do to their family life. Is it any wonder so many homes are in trouble. What achievement in life is equal to a happy home and rearing successful children. If at any time you have no church to attend, feel free to join us for services. I'm sure you will leave feeling blessed. Faith and Healing He said to her, "Daugh- ter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (Mark 5:34). Faith is one of the most powerful weapons against the enemy that we as Chris- tians have. I understand that keeping faith in a time of sickness is a hard thing to do. Also, I know that the devil likes to kick us when we are down. Faith and trust that God has it all un- der control and is always do- ing things for your good will see you through this. Does this mean that you should not cry out to God? No. You should cry out to God, not just as God but as a loving father, letting him know that you are still holding faith, claiming healing in your life and are thankful that he has blessed you this far. God loves you. Trust in him, and see that faith and healing go hand-in-hand. We welcome you to all services. Come and wor- ship Jesus with us. See our Facebook page Glezen Revival Center.
