Autumn
Story by: Natalie Almond As the weather cools
down and the days grow shorter, many changes come about. The short
shorts and bro tanks disappear and are replaced by the comfortability of jeans and sweatshirts. Some of the many things that
can only be enjoyed in the fall and winter months return. Some of these include: eating soup, cuddling up next to
a fire with
blankets, watching football, listening to rain on your rooftop, and drinking hot chocolate. Another positive to fall is that it is no longer like climbing into an oven when getting into your car. Many exciting events also
happen in the fall:Homecoming, Elections, Halloween, and Thanksgiving are all coming up. Fall marks the beginning of the holiday season. As soon as Halloween c o m e s
around, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are soon to follow. While there are many good things that come with fall, it also typically means crunch time for seniors. This is the most stressful part of the year for them. Fall is the time that seniors must dedicate a big portion of their life applying to schools and for scholarships. As the leaves change to beautiful
oranges and yellows and start to fall, the world settles into a new routine.
