Ozaukee County Fair royalty Photo submitted For the first time in several years, a Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs will visit the Ozaukee County Fair. Rebecca Starkenburg, above, will visit the fair between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was selected from a field of 39 contestants from county and district fairs throughout Wisconsin at the annual Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention in January. Starkenburg 20, represents the Lodi Agricultural Fair and is a junior at South Dakota State University majoring in agriculture communications and minoring in animal science and meat science. The Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs program was designed to select an ambassador for the Wisconsin Association of Fairs, which represents all 76 Wisconsin county, district and state fairs. Ozaukee County's Natalie Salkowski served as the state's Fairest of the Fairs in 2010. She currently serves on the Ozaukee County Agricultural Society Board of Directors.
