Kelly Cooney and Paolo Maduro water views Boston Common hosted its summer-ending Christina Pierce Mona Kumar and Mary Kakas Newport Glambake on August 26 at Belle Mer. More than 200 guests were greeted by sunny skies as they looked over the ocean and Newport Bridge from the Island House and enjoyed beer from Stella Artois, rosé by Chateau d'Esclans, and cocktails by Double Cross vodka. Passed hors d'oeuvres such as sliders and tuna sashimi were complemented by a flatbread bar. When guests weren't admiring the newest models from Viti Mercedes in the sunshine near the water, they could step into a photo booth, play bocce on the lawn, or enter to win an overnight package from Mohegan Sun.
