Palazzo's reformatted former Azure pool goes for splash over trash with sophisticated cabana art inspired by midcentury color field paintings and sporty Tory Burch-clad servers bearing retro cocktails like the Bees Knees and French 75. But the fun new pool party that harkens back to classic American pool, lawn, and racquet clubs isn't short on sass: Play boozy floating table tennis on Fridays; take in perfor- mances by the city's adorable synchronized swimmers, the Aqualillies, on Saturdays; and drink frosé (or bloody Marys and green snappers) all day on Sundays.
