For information, visit www.flwlib.org. Master Gardeners – Mequon Nature Preserve – A Hidden Gem Time: 7 p.m. Where: Auditorium, Ozaukee County Administration Building, 121 W. Main St., Port Washington Kristin Gies, executive director of the Mequon Nature Preserve, will speak to the Ozaukee Master Gardeners on a hidden gem of our community – the Mequon Nature Preserve. Gies will share the history of the preserve, the process of returning the urban/suburban area to pre-settlement condition and the development of environmental education programs that inspire exploration and cultivate stewardship, and encourage visitors to get off the path. The Mequon Nature Preserve is a natural habitat where native plants flourish and long absent wildlife is returning to the 438 acres of urban/suburban land, including acres of forests, wetlands and open fields bridging urban Milwaukee with surrounding northern suburbs. The presentation is free and the open to the public. Movies at the library Time: 6 p.m. Where: Niederkorn Library, 316 W. Fridays, April 28 through May 26 Pickleball for adults 55 and over Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Community Gym, W63 N643 Washington Ave., Cedarburg Cost: $3 per time Pickleball is a sport for all ages, similar to tennis, but on a court the size of a badminton court. The Cedarburg Senior Center is offering pickleball indoors at the Community Center Gym. The game is played by two or four people using wood paddle racquets and a plastic, poly ball with holes. Saturdays through May Pickleball Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Where: John Long Middle School, 700 Hickory St., Grafton Cost: $3 per night Four regulation-sized indoor courts are available, with one court reserved for beginners.
