The workshops include "Abstraction Distraction," an art quilt applique workshop taught by Pat Bishop; "Itajime Shibori Dyeing" workshop led by Mary Mendla; "Demystify Design and Composition" led by Gina Studelska; "Bead Embroidery" with Jamie Lyn Kara; "Contemporary Mending" with Heidi Parkes; and "Nuno Felting" with Deb Mortl. Exhibits include Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts "Collection Highlight: Hexagon Quilts." (Note that during the Cedarburg Spur Trail Weekend, admission to the museum is free.) In addition to workshops, Heidi Parkes, Mary Mendla, Jamie Lyn Kara and Linda Sweek will have Pop-Up Studios at Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts. The Pink Llama Gallery hosts Donna Tronca, a Wisconsin mixed media artist in "Reimagined Fiber as Art." Tronca will also have a trunk show at Third annual Postcards from the Trail weaves its way to Cedarburg this weekend.
