The organization moved into a smaller location within the Family Enrichment Center. The next change expected is a change in hours. While the new Milwaukee staff for the VCOC will be available daily by phone, the physical location of the VCOC will have shorter hours than previously, according to Meiksins. While hours may shrink, Meiksins was hopeful that services overall will increase for Ozaukee County in the long run, by the VCOC being joined with the resources already established in the Milwaukee volunteer center. "A little bit more of the services we use to support nonprofits in a very hands- on way, we want to bring that into Ozaukee County," Meiksins said. Wednesday, Jan. 18 Women's FOCUS Luncheon – featuring speaker Jenny Richards Time: Networking and registration begins at 11:30 p.m. Where: Ozaukee Country Club, 10823 N. River Road, Mequon Jenny Richards is a Hubspot-certified inbound, email and sales software marketer and is Google Analytics and Adwords certified. She has managed new product launches, digital marketing and social media efforts for a variety of technology, manufacturing and small businesses. Social media, Google and Amazon are changing the way individuals interact with businesses. This quick session will give attendees the tools needed to identify which channels are best for them and how to get started growing an audience and, ultimately, their businesses. She will cover the basics of Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram, share best practices, and leave time at the end for collaborative brainstorming.
