So here is Boston-based supermodel Gisele Bündchen, dancing, smiling, and shimmering the way we all dream of feeling at every holiday party this season. "She's magnetic, a great smile," says celeb photographer and Cape Cod fanatic David X. Prutting, who captured the moment. "She has that kind of energy that makes you want to be around her." Prutting caught this candid shot at a bash for celebrity photographer Mario Testino. "It was an amazing room, something out of Versailles," he says. "Cool lights, rocking dance floor, cocktails flowing. Everyone was free." Prutting, who photographs the Met Gala annually, adds that snapping the right moment is all about fitting in: "I call it participant observation. I try to act like a host with cameras, engaging and earning the trust of the guests." Here, he captured the archetypal image of how every party thrower and -goer in Boston will embrace the season.
