COLOR ADO SPIRIT From its home downvalley, on Carbondale's Main Street, two-year-old Marble Distilling Co. is churn- ing out its award-winning, small-batch Marble Vodka, Gingercello (true to its name, a limoncello- like liqueur made from ginger), and Moonlight EXpresso (a vanilla-tinged coffee liqueur). For the full experience, stop by the namesake tasting room- turned-bar. Should you overdo it, book one of the five boutique rooms at the on-site Distillery Inn and stay the night. 150 Main St., Carbondale, 970-963- 7008; marbledistilling.com PHOTOGRAPHY BY RACHEL MAYORAL, COURTESY MARBLE DISTILLING CO. 84 ASPENPEAK-MAGAZINE.COM breakfast and lunch, this café has one of the best people- watching patios in town. 121 S. Ms Dibbs' canvases have a more piquant, even psychedelic flavor than those of her immediate visual cousin, the great Russell Chatham. Currently her sculptures round a corner into abstraction writ in audacious and arresting concepts that bring the busiest mind to a dead stop. Her working studio and gallery is located at 227 Midland Avenue #17A in Basalt and is open for drop-in visits or appointments.
