VIP RECEPTION WITH THE PRESIDENT OF ICELAND In partnership with the American Renewable Energy Institute and the Westin Snowmass Resort, Aspen Peak hosted a VIP reception in honor of His Excellency Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, then the president of Iceland. Grímsson spoke at annual green energy expo American Renewable Energy Day about Iceland's energy grid, which is comprised of 100 percent renewable sources. Other speakers included former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, business magnate T. Boone Pickens, and marine biologist Dr. Sylvia Earle.
