Page 22 Welcome to the August issue of Diversity Rules Magazine. Sum- mer is slipping by fast but all in all it has been a good summer, with nice, hot temperatures! Enjoy it while you can, as we all know what comes after. bbbbrrrrr. Being a Presidential year, this sum- mer has brought major political party nominations for President, with Hillary Clinton being the Democratic candidate and Donald Trump the Republican candidate. ere has been no more stark a choice between candidates with as much at stake. With Supreme Court appointments and its ideo- logical balance in question, along with other issues important to all Americans, and especially to the queer community, the choice is very clear on who would represent us equally and think of the greater good. at choice is Hillary Clin- ton. Diversity Rules Magazine has officialy endorsed Mrs. Clinton for President. Her stellar acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention clearly outlined her goals and aspirations and the glar- ing differences between herself and Donald Trump, who is mired in the past and focuses on divisiveness and turmoil and pitting groups against one another. Trump's cam- paign is grounded in fear whereas, Clinton's is one of hope and mov- ing the country forward, working together to make America a more perfect union. While Diversity rules has endorsed Hillary Clin- ton, we understand others may not agree with the endorsement. However, what is most important is that you vote and vote your con- science! ere are some other great features in this month's issue including Da- vid-Elijah Nahmod's regular col- umn, as well as a number of other articles of interest focusing on trav- el, books and new movies! Enjoy the rest of your summer! Diversity Rules Magazine PO Box 72 Oneonta, NY 13820 James R.
