Guests enjoyed a presentation of the local designer's current swimwear collection, pieces from which were available for purchase throughout the evening. Kennedy Institute in Boston. Grammy Award–winner Patti Austin served as the evening's emcee, introducing Genella McDonald, Jean Verbridge, Michael J. Lee, and Rose Mary Botti-Salitsky as 2016's honorees. The gala supported Community Cooks, which mobilizes individuals, businesses, and civic, educational, and faith-based groups to prepare home-cooked food for Greater Boston's most vulnerable populations.
