Second Team Third Team First Team Player of the Year Fourth Team The All-Freeman Boys Team JACOB HARTUNG Hamilton Senior The 6-1 guard was the go-to player again for the Chargers and was selected to first-team All-Greater Metro Conference. Hartung averaged 21.5 points while grabbing 3.4 rebounds and dishing out 2.7 assists per game this season. He shot 52.3 per- cent from the field to go along with 40 percent from 3-point range and scored in double fig- ures in every game, surpassing 20 points on 14 occasions. He ended his high school career ranked third on Hamilton's all- time scoring list with 752 points. RYAN CLAREY Brookfield Academy Senior The 6-1 guard helped the Blue Knights to another Midwest Classic Conference title with a high-scoring season. Clarey led Waukesha County in scoring and was the MWC's Player of the Year. He also received first- team All-State recognition in Divi- sion 3 by the WBCA. He averaged 25.6 points and 5.5 assists per game and closed his career with more than 1,650 points at Brook- field Academy. He scored a career- best 41 points in a game against Destiny this season and will play at UW-Whitewater next winter. TREVELL CUNNINGHAM Arrowhead Junior The 5-11 guard was voted second- team All-Classic 8 for a season in which he averaged 13.7 points per game. Cunningham scored a season- high 35 points in Arrowhead's 98-88 loss to Kimberly on March 5. ANDREW BRUGGINK Brookfield Central Senior The 6-3 forward was the Greater Metro Conference's Player of the Year and received honorable mention All-State honors in Division 1 by the WBCA. Bruggink led Central in scor- ing (20.1 points per game) and rebounds (6.6). In three games, Bruggink scored over 30 points. He shot over 45 percent from the field and 91 percent from the free-throw line, providing a scoring punch that opposing teams had to account for every time down the court. CALEB WAGNER Muskego Senior The 6-foot guard led a dynamic Muskego offense to its first-ever state championship game in Division 1. Wagner, the Clas- sic 8 Player of the Year, also received first- team All-State recognition by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association for his effort in leading the Warriors to their sec- ond straight outright Classic 8 title. His unique style at the point guard position often led to him running coast to coast for a basket, pulling up for a jumper or finding an open teammate for points. Wagner, a three-sport athlete, led the Classic 8 in scoring, with an average of 22.3 points to go along with four assists and 1.4 steals per game. He's unsure of his college plans, but wants to play basket- ball. WYATT COOK Pewaukee Junior The 6-6 forward filled the stat sheet for the Pirates as they claimed second place in the Woodland Conference-West. Cook was selected first-team Woodland-West and also gar- nered honorable mention Divi- sion 2 All-State recognition by the WBCA. He averaged 13 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds per game while always being a consistent shoot- er. Cook shot 48 percent from the field and carried a 42 percent 3- point percentage for the season. JOE LEMON Brookfield Academy Senior The 6-5 forward earned first- team Midwest Classic honors for his stellar season. Lemon aver- aged 22.5 points per game and scored in double digits in every game en route to another confer- ence crown for the Blue Knights. TOMMY ANDERSON Muskego Senior The 6-4 forward was a great complement for the Warriors' offense. Anderson was second on the team in scoring (15.1 points per game) and shot 47-percent from 3-point range. He was a second-team All- Classic 8 selection. SULLIVAN KULJU NB Eisenhower Junior The 6-6 forward averaged 13.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game this season, helping the Lions to a Wood- land-West title. Kulju was selected to the Woodland-West's second team for his season. ZACH CLAYTON Oconomowoc Junior The 6-2 forward was selected first-team All-Wisconsin Little Ten Conference. Clayton averaged 19 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 83 percent from the free-throw line. SEAN MILLER Kettle Moraine Senior The 6-3 guard missed the first game of the season, but returned on fire for the Lasers. Miller, a first-team Classic 8 Con- ference selection for the second consecutive year, averaged 21 points per game and was Kettle Moraine's top offensive weapon. He scored in double digits in every game except one this season and registered a season-high 34 points in a game against Wauke- sha South on Feb. 5. He also scored more than 20 points 12 times. Miller will play at UW-Eau Claire next year. CODY HURTADO Waukesha South Senior The 6-foot guard finished third in the Classic 8 in scoring (19.7 points per game) and averaged six rebounds to go along with the tally. Hurtado was selected first-team All-Classic 8 for his stellar senior season. BRIAN WILMAN Arrowhead Senior The 6-6 forward emerged as a big, physical player this season for the Warhawks and scored 12.3 points and grabbed 6.5 rebounds per game. He was a first-team All- Classic 8 selection and will play at UW-Oshkosh next year. JORDAN CANADY New Berlin Eisenhower Senior The 6-2 guard was a second- team Woodland-West selection. Canady averaged 12.1 points to go along with 4.5 assists and four rebounds per game. A multi- sport athlete, Canady will play football at North Dakota next fall. JAKE GRAF Brookfield East Junior The 6-foot guard did all he could to help the Spartans this year. Graf averaged 15.2 points per game and was selected to the Greater Metro Conference's sec- ond team. He scored in double digits in all but three games this year. BRANDON HAU Mukwonago Junior The 6-6 forward was a first- team All-Classic 8 selection this season. Hau averaged 16.3 points per game for the Indians while shooting 49 percent from the field. He led the Indians in scoring, rebounding (7) and blocks (1.7). JACK SIREK New Berlin Eisenhower Senior The 6-3 guard led Eisenhower to a Woodland Conference-West title. Sirek, a first-team All-Woodland-West selection, averaged 12 points per game and shot 84- percent from the free-throw line. PARKER CARLSEN Catholic Memorial Senior The 6-3 forward was a first- team Classic 8 selection and led the Crusaders' offense this season by attacking the basket. Carlsen scored 18 points per game and will play basketball at St. Norbert College next year. ADAM WIECZOREK Waukesha North Senior The 6-foot guard led the North- stars with 17.7 points per game and was a first-team Classic 8 selection this season. Wieczorek converted on 61 3-point attempts, including eight in a game against Catholic Memorial on Feb. 25 MATTY FARNER Muskego Senior The 6-3 forward was a key compo- nent for Muskego. Farner led the Classic 8 in rebounding yet again this year, averaging 11.8 per game to go along with 14.1 points. He was a second-team all-conference selection for his solid year. The 6-10 center was a first-team WLTselection and averaged 8.9 points and nine rebounds. He will play at Winona State next year. SPENCER TREDER Oconomowoc Senior
