with the puzzle, but as you go on, they start to disappear. You are left with nothing to help you. This challenging game calm the mind down as you play and is great for when you have to take a moment to get your mind away from school. during their time in the camps. All in all, 'Unbroken' is a novel written by Lauren Hillenbrand that I highly recommend. It's a book that will definitely keep you on your toes wondering what will happen next chapter after chapter. Man,' 'Home Town,' 'Goner,' 'Not Today,' and 'Lane Boy,.' My favorites include 'Stressed Out,' 'Car Radio,' 'Polarize,' 'We Don't Believe What's On TV,' and 'Goner. ' These are very catchy songs. All of them seem catchy to me but these are the ones I mostly got into. This album has a variety of diverse songs. That's probably what I like most about it. The diversity and bravery it took to have all of that diversity on the same album. They sold 147,000 copies of this album in the first week in the United States. By January the group sold 529,000 copies of this album. The album is also sold in Canada. These songs are a little odd. There is one that is about how he got his car radio stolen and another about potholes in the road. Even the most eccentric songs can be catchy and get stuck in your head. I strongly suggest this album to anyone who likes to listen to new music and see what all is out there. 'Blendoku' satisfies "Beautiful game that relieves stress" Skyler Drew Staff Writer Amy Becerra Staff Writer 'Unbroken' is a novel written by Laura Hillenbrand based on the true story of Louis Zamperini. Now I was originally instructed to read this novel for my AP Language class, so the original thought of this book was a task that had to be completed rather than reading the book to enjoy it. Also. My usual group of books that I read do not necessarily fall into the same category as 'Unbroken'. However, once I got past the first few chapters, I was surprised that this book was something that I actually struck an interest in. 'Unbroken' starts off with a scene where Louis Zamperini and his crew endure a plane crash into the ocean. This novel is set during the time of World War II, and it mainly focuses on Japan. I'm not usually the type to read about war, so I was surprised to actually be highly interested throughout the book. Louis Zamperini was an Olympic distance runner and a prisoner of war. Not the usual combination, right? The story follows Louis, the narrator, and his journey from his childhood the end of World War II. What I liked about 'Unbroken' was that it didn't really focus on every technical aspect about war. It didn't go into extreme detail about how the weapons were used or how the planes were made, but it focused on the emotional aspect of war and how it can bring such an emotional toll on someone after it is all over and the captured prisoners return back to their homes. If I'm being honest, there are a couple of disturbing scenes throughout the book. To save the spoilers, I'm not going to give you a detailed description of how this POWs were mistreated or the aftermath of the war. The thing with 'Unbroken' is that there are so many unusual and or disturbing scenes that keeps you intrigued and on your toes which causes you to just keep on reading and reading. Therefore, it is safe to say I finished this AP Language assignment much faster than I assumed. The author really portrayed the mind set of these POWs "... keeps you intrigued and on your toes which causes you to just keep on reading and reading. '21 Pilots' is only two people. This duo originated in Columbus, Ohio. The group is composed of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. This band was formed in 2009. Tyler came up with the name of the group by studying a play called 'All My Sons' by Arthur Miller. There was the death of '21 pilots' in this play and he was trying to figure out what to do. Where Tyler soon found what he was looking for. Their first two songs were officially unreleased to soundcloud. An original called 'Time To Say Goodbye' and a cover of 'Jar Of Hearts' by Christina Perri. They were originally available for free but since the group has become up and coming they are now not. At a sold out concert at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion they announced their signing to 'Atlantic Records' subsidiary label 'Fueled by Ramen.' They released their first signed debut, 'Vessel,' with 'Fueled by Ramen' in 2013. Their second album released was 'Blurryface.' On March 16, 2013 the band announced that they were releasing this album. The name of this album was made by the members as a character who "Represents all things that I as an individual, but also everyone is around, is insecure about." 'Blurryface' was released on May 15, 2105 through the same label. Although it was released in May it just became popular on the radio and all over the internet. The genre of thus music is mostly Pop music, Rock music, Hip hop music, Reggae, Indie pop, Alternative hip hop, Alternative dance, Electropop 'Blurryface' has a very interesting set of songs on it. I like some of the songs. Others I don't like very much. There are a lot of songs on this album including 'HeavyDirtySoul,' 'The Judge,' 'Doubt,' 'Polarize,' 'We Don't Believe What's On TV,' 'Ride,' 'Tear In My Heart,' 'Stressed Out,' 'Fairly Local,' 'Message The movie 'Clueless' was released on July 19, 1995. This is a teen romance film that is rated PG-13. This movie was rated 6.8/10. This movie was loosely based on a book by Jane Austen called 'Emma' released in 1815. The director of this movie is Amy Heckerling and the producer is Scott Rudin. The star of this movie is Alicia Silverstone. She plays a very ditsy, shallow, rich girl who gets everything she wants. Her character's name is Cher. She is very full of herself and she also thinks of herself as a matchmaker. She actually tricks two of her teachers into dating. Two of her best friends are Dee and Murray and they are dating because of Cher. There comes a new girl to the school named Tai. Tai is a hopelessly klutzy girl. Cher gives her a makeover and Tai is soon becoming more popular than her. Cher hooks Tai up with a nice boy amend Travis. They end up going to a party and Tai drinks too much and Travis comes to her rescue because of Cher. Cher has a step- brother named Josh, played by Paul Rudd, he is her confidante. To me he almost seems like her best friend. When Tai eventually becomes more popular than Cher. She turns to Josh for advice. She invites Josh over for a movie night and tries to f lirt and be cute. Soon after doing so she finds herself falling for Josh. I really enjoy this movie for all of its wonderful qualities. This movie really captures what the 80's were like in my opinion. From what my mother tells me, this movie really explains how preppy rich girls were in the 80's. I really enjoy watching this movie when I am with friends because I like to see if we act the same as Cher does with her friends. It is very entertaining to see how she acts. I think she did an amazing job for this part in this movie. Alicia Silverstone was perfect for this part. Somehow, in a sense, she nailed it. I like how perfectly ditsy she acted and how damsel in distress like she was. It was super interesting to watch. This movie can be found on YouTube, iTunes, Netf lix, and more. I really suggest this movie to all those who like cheesy 80's movies about preppy girls. In high school, you need to find as many things that keep you calm as you can. Why not have fun while you calm down with 'Blendoku,' the puzzle game for Android/iOS. In this game, the goal is to place the provided colors on the board to make a smooth sequence of colors. Each game gets harder and harder as you go, like any other game. It doesn't always give you just one shade of a color. It can be as basic as black to white , or it'll have two to three colors blending across the board. Colors and boards change on every level. I have been getting rid of lots of stress with this game. It makes you frustrated sometimes, but the relief that you get after you beat a level is really worth it. It is so fun to have to switch the colors around on the board. I sometimes manage to get the puzzle right on accident which always makes me very happy. In the beginning of the game, there are some colors in the board that help you "It's a good read that will keep the pages turning." Arts and Entertainment Page 4 January 22, 2016 tigernewspaper.com
