Brett Huske, Executive Director of the Dalton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau makes it his business to keep Dalton visible and vibrant in the tourism arena. The feature article updates us on Carpet and the role it plays in the Tourism Industry. The feature story out- lines some current projects and talks about plans for the future. Tourism is a major revenue generator and does have a significant economic impact on our region. This month we have hosted 8 Ribbon Cutting ceremonies. That's a lot of new, remodeled and relocated Dalton business. Be sure to check them out! Also it's time to mark your calendars for our 6th Annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament which will be held on Monday, September 21st at The Farm. Sponsorships are available now! Please call Beth Morrison at 706-712- 0949 for more details on how your company can get some awesome expo- sure at the event. Thank you for your continued active participation and membership in YOUR Greater Dalton Chamber. Robert H. Smalley, Chairman
