Do you occasionally fall or fell shaky on your feet? Do you remember to take your medication? Do you need help taking a shower? Need help with housework or want a home cooked meal, but can't do it by yourself? If you can't drive, do you want to get to activities, church or to your doctor appointments? Has your physician said you need 24/7 care in order to come home after surgery or rehab? SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED COMFORT KEEPERS! "IT'S YOUR CHOICE" with 24 HOUR LIVE IN CARE from Comfort Keepers you can remain in your own home surrounded by your memories and all the comforts of home! WHO DOES COMFORT KEEPERS HIRE? Mission-based, men and women who have a calling and desire to give back and care for those in need. All Comfort Keepers caregivers are screened, bonded, insured and continuously trained. You and your family are protected and receive unparalleled comfort of mind. COMFORT KEEPERS IS THE EMPLOYER As a 24 Hour Legal Live-In Employer, Comfort Keepers pays "all" taxes while providing liability and workers compensation insurance. You avoid being taken advantage of, while your home, assets and yourself are legally protected. That's why Independent Contractors often charge less because they are not paying any taxes, liability or workers compensation insurance-thereby leaving you unprotected and vulnerable at a time of your life that you shouldn't be. 24 Hour Live-In care offers several additional advantages over 24/7 Hourly Care. Hourly care is expensive and may require six-10 different caregivers having access to your home all day, and all night, all week long. Comfort Keepers' 24 Hour Live-In Care limits that confusion with ONLY two or three personal caregivers per week, allowing each caregiver to make a better connection to your unique needs. WHAT IS COMFORT KEEPERS INTERACTIVE CAREGIVING? Comfort Keepers daily PRICES include specialized INTERACTIVE CARE MANAGERS who are there for the family, clients and caregivers. We interact and communicate closely with the family to assure our caregivers are meeting expectations. We coach our caregivers and interact with all your family members to oversee our employees, assuring clients that our caregivers follow ALL our policies. When a client's health changes, we interact with our caregivers, with you and your family to stay abreast of any changes and adjust care plans to make life easier and better for YOU. IF YOU CHOSE TO HAVE HOSPICE SERVICE AT HOME We work hand in hand with Hospice nurses while caring for you, assuring you and your family's members the dignity and respect during these stages of your life. When mobility is limited, we also provide Hoyer lift training as needed. Comfort Keepers is NATIONALLY rated as #1 BEST HOME CARE AGENCY, THREE YEARS IN A ROW! Why we live here By Chris Bennett Special to The Freeman BROOKFIELD — Brooke Kutschera recently walked her dog near her home in the 700 block of Parkmoor Drive in Brookfield, wandering sev- eral blocks in the midst of a leisurely stroll with her pooch. During Kutschera's walk, a woman ran out of her house and across her lawn and down the street, and eventu- ally approached her with an invitation for an upcoming block party. "The reason we were invit- ed is we walk our dog past their house every day," Kutschera said. "We feel very welcome here. We feel very much a part of this commu- nity." Kutschera's anecdote speaks to why you call Brook- field or Elm Grove home, and not just another place to live. It touches on that subtle feel- ing that tells you why you belong in a place once it has touched you.
