Insert Page 1 May 29, 2015 Newsworthy Seniors Walker Davidson and Karl Parks plan on going to college in order to pursue engineering. Karl will be majoring in Aeospace or Robotics engineering. Walker will be majoring in Aerospace engineering and will be attending Cuesta College while Karl Parks will be attending San Diego State University. "I have a passion for math and science and I believe I should constantly be expanding my knowledge," said Parks. Davidson is "excited for the future." William Yates is planning on serving on a church mission after high school. He will be doing so through his church. "Both of my brothers did this and they both benefitted from it," said Yates. According to Yates, it is a "weird feeling because I'm both terrified and very ex- cited." Tristen Dodd is planning on attending Le Cordon Bleu school for cooking. He feels good about the situation and "loves to cook." According to Dodd, his mother showed him how to cook and his favor- ite part of cooking is learning how to make some- thing new that someone hasn't made before. PJ Mackintosh plans on going to TALC afte high school. TALC stands for Tehama Adult Learning Center. He is choosing this because it is "a new program for me." When asked how he feels about it, he said, "I feel good about it." Daisy Brose will be running track at Humboldt state. "I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I can't wait to experience life away from home," said Brose. She will be going into kinesiology. "I am going into kinesiology because my career goal is to become a firefighter," said Brose. Brose "abso- lutely love[s] Humboldt and the community around it." According to her, track is her passion and she is grateful to continue at the next level. Walker Davidson & Karl Parks Daisy Brose Tristen Dodd PJ Mackintosh William Yates Hailey Reineman seniors Hailey Reineman is planning on traveling abroad after high school. She has previously been involved in the Austrian exchange pro- gram. She will be attending University of Reno. She will be traveling abroad her sophomore year. "I feel very excited to have this opportu- nity I will be going my junior yearof college," said Reineman. She will be studying abroad for a year in London. Page by Rebecca Blanchard
