Romantic movie with incredible acting skills! Page 4 May 29, 2015 Arts and Entertainment Tomorrowland is a movie that younger kids would enjoy. Bluffer Staff Pick 'Age of Adaline' (2015) It is okay, but not the greatest game. Becca Blanchard Editor-in-Chief This is quite possibly the best album I have heard this year, it is majestic. Drivers Education -Classes $75 -Online $49.95 Traffic School -Classes $40 -Online $29.95 Mack Driving School - DMV #4584 Traffic School - DMV #1820 'TomorrowLand' lacks realistic creativity for adolescents and adult audiences' tastes Characters from the Disney sci-fi film 'TomorrowLand' looking around the world of 'Tomorrowland' while standing in a field outside the town. 'All Time Low' reaches a new all time high Oh, 'All Time Low'. Personally, I could rant about this fantastic band for endless hours, so it seems fitting to be my last review. Their new album, 'Future Hearts', is amazing. Not only do they feature Mark Hoppus, from Blink 182, in it, but they feature Joel Madden from 'Good Charlotte'. On top of that, the rest of the songs are magnificent. I never thought any album could top the past few I have listened to by All Time Low. An older song of theirs, 'Weightless', was used as my senior quote for the yearbook this year. The gem of a lyric was, "Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's going to be my year." Somehow, the lyrics continue to be just as intricate and genuine in the new album. The sound meshes perfectly with the new lyrics in a modernized pop punk medley of perfection. Many modern songs do the saddest thing, they auto tune, and then ignore the importance of drums and bass. Guitar, as important as it is always appreciated. Drums and bass however, never get the credit they deserve. By listening to this album, anybody's eardrums will automatically give credit where credit is due. The bass is sublime, and the drums are intense. Moreover, the album is a new sound, which is hard to do. At the end of the day, many albums end up sounding like another. This, however, was unique, while at the same time, familiar. It felt like a warm hug from an old friend with words of compassion, understanding and acceptance who would proceed to utter the words, "Dude, listen to this sick track, it makes me want to party." I assume that's what it would say. I'm neither hip nor dope enough to understand the gnarly lingo of my own generation-though I can reasonably assume "gnarly" is not a cool word. What is cool however, is the new Album, "Future Hearts" by All Time Low. One of the lyrics, "The kids in the dark, to burn out forever, or light up a spark, we come together, state of the art, we'll never surrender," speaks to me in particular. This album, in my mind, could define a generation, one which us willing to stand up and fight, live their lives, and speak their minds. I will gladly speak my mind in saying this album is glorious and indeed, super dope and radical. The 2015 PG-13 movie 'Age of Adaline' was a terrific drama/romantic movie. This movie was all about Adaline, a girl who was born in 1908, who never looked a day over 29. Her story began as a married 29 year old with a daughter. Then during the Golden Gate Bridge's construction, she became a widow as her husband was killed. Then one night as she was driving down to get her daughter from her parents house she had a tragic experience. She had driven off the road into the water. Adaline's heart stopped beating, and she died, but then lightning struck and had revived her. From that point on, she never aged another day. This story line is different than any other, and is unique in a creative in an interesting way. Adaline has to watch her daughter grow up, and has to always change her name and buy fake I.D's. She always has to move to another town so that nobody can recognize her. Adaline seems tired of running, but doesn't know any other way. Once Adaline gets a new man in her life everything gets complicated. It is very heart- touching and is not unrealistic like most movies these days. This movie showcases the life of an extraordinary woman who has to live out everyone she loves at 107 years old. She has experienced many heartbreaks during her lifetime, and wishes to grow old like everyone else. Adaline has a charming personality. You'll fall in love with her right away. Julissa Villalobos Staff Writer Hailie Willey Staff Writer Kourtney Sanders Staff Writer play.google.com 'Criminal Case' is a game where you solve a series of murder cases in a corrupt city. The object of the game is to investigate crime scenes to find hidden objects and analyze evidence to find the killer. In this game, you get to examine clues, interrogate witnesses, search crime scenes, solve puzzles, and so much more. 'Criminal Case' is a very challenging game. Sometimes it seems impossible to find hidden objects and many puzzles to complete. It challenges your brain to observe and analyze different scenarios. The game is enjoyable because it pushes you to stretch for a higher score but it is also frustrating because each level requires a large amount of energy that you use to get to that point. Another thing that can come to frustrate you is that in order to solve the case, you have to analyze certain objects but you won't have enough stars because you have low scores which is because you don't have enough energy. There are a few ways to get more energy. You can wait for a few hours and your energy will be restored, or you can buy "food" to restore your energy as well. Also, you can to connect to Facebook, which can get you more energy. The real problem is obtaining stars, and the only way to do that is to complete the levels. In this game, you do laboratory work, such as autopsies and analyzing DNA. Other things that you are required to do are finding distraught corpses and murder weapons. After so many levels you are able to have a police dog, but it is a waste of coins. All the dog does is find playing cards or coins, which aren't needed. 'Criminal Case' is not the best game that I have played, but it is challenging. I usually like challenging games, but this one frustrates me to no end. The lack of energy and stars makes me angry. If this game didn't have the problems it does, then it would be a better game. This game is alright, but I would not necessarily recommend it to my friends. minds and poses much frustration 'Criminal Case' challenges players The 'Criminal Case' app challenges players by investigating hundreds of crime scenes. The film, 'Tomorrowland' is about a virtual world that was created for the most intelligent and creative people to gather and form a better future for humanity. To me, it kind of seems like a movie about a the future and the insane inventions brought to life, but not so much about creative people uniting to make the world a better place. It begins in a flashback to 1964 where boy genius, Frank Walker, attends a science fair in New York. The directors managed to capture the curiosity and determination in young Walker's character in a way that he didn't feel hollow. From there he meets this bitter judge, Nix, who is utterly unimpressed by Walker's semi-functional jet pack. It takes off, but he can't control where he wants to fly. I honestly don't understand how this judge nonchalantly brushed off the fact that a ten year old kid was even able to think of building a jet pack. I mean, Nix is basically the guy who recruits people into 'Tomorrowland' so shouldn't have Walker been an ideal candidate? You know, since America wasn't as technologically advanced back then, yet here's this young boy who was able to build the impossible. Well who knows, maybe old Nix saw too many jet packs that day and wasn't really in the mood to fly. Although Walker failed to capture Nix's attention, he did catch the eye of Athena, a young girl who appears to be Walker's age, but is actually a robot invented by the people of Tomorrowland. Then Athena leads him to Tomorrowland and he becomes a part of their world. Flash forward to the present, Athena recruits Casey Newton, a teenager who sabotages NASA's launch pads in order to secure her father's job as an engineer. The second time she tries to destroy the machines, she gets caught by the police and is arrested. After she is released, she collects her belongings and she finds a little pin with a 'T' inscribed in it. The instant she touches it, she's transported into the world of 'Tomorrowland'. There's a problem though. It isn't actually there, so whatever she does when she's transported, it also happens in real life. Basically it's a commercial that she gets to experience up close. The first part of the movie was interesting, but then I fell asleep because it got boring. I didn't even get to see the ending because one of the workers woke me up, but since it's a Disney film, I'm sure it had a happy ending. www.comingsoon.net "I'm neither hip nor dope enough to understand the gnarly lingo of my own generation."
