It is hard to believe we are through 4 months of the year already! e time is fly- ing by for sure. Spring has sprung here in the Great Northeast though and it's time to start thinking about barbeques and fun in the sun! I want to welcome back Kim Pear- son as this month's guest feature interviewee. Kim was a guest back in 2009 when Diversity Rules was a bi-monthly publication distribut- ed free of charge. Diversity Rules Magazine welcomes her back and I am sure you will enjoy her insight into her experience as a mother of a transgender child. Included in this issue in addtion to Kim's awesome interview is David-Elijah Nahmod's second installment of his column "If you Could Read My Mind: A PTSD Memoir which addresses his chal- lenges with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We also wel- come back Kristen MacKenzie, Lee Lynch and "e Amazon Trail." Robert Saldarini takes us on a journey to Seattle, WA, while our friends at Purple Roofs bring us to San Diego, CA. Susan omas continues her helpful advice in her column "inQUEERies." Diversity Rules Magazine also is honored to help promote the debut of Jake Biondi's third installment in his Boystown series. ere is also a movie highlight for "Beyond Love" distributed by Ariztical En- tertainment. So sit back and enjoy this month's issue. It's great to be able to pro- vide awesome reading to the gay community and all those who re- spect the diversity of our society.
