OWLT, Ozaukee County – Planning and Parks Department, Milwaukee Audubon Society and their partners and sponsors are hosting a variety of activities scheduled from 6:30 am until noon, including guided bird walks and scavenger hunts, live bird exhibits, a nature photography workshop, and a discussion about the proposed Cedar Heights Gorge project on the Lake Michigan shoreline in Port Washington. Habitat is critical to all organisms, including birds! And what better place to celebrate this year's theme, "Restore Habitat, Restore Birds," than Forest Beach Migratory Preserve, just north of Port Washington.
