PHOTOGRAPHY BY TRACEY VIBBER (A WORTHY CAUSE); MICHAEL BLANCHARD (OSCARS) IT WAS A STAR-STUDDED NIGHT ON THE R ED CAR PET at the Ellie Fund Oscars, which raised nearly $200,000 to support women, men, and families battling breast cancer. The attendees bid on fabulous vacations and auto- graphed memorabilia while enjoying gourmet samples from restaurants such as The Local, Pastoral, Smith & Wollensky, and Bostonia Public House. The VIP list was as studded with talent as the Academy Awards, including fashion stylist Christina K. Pierce and WCVB's Danielle Vollmar. THE OSCAR GOES TO… MORE THAN 800 sharp-dressed young Bostonians filled the ballroom of the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel for the annual Boston Winter Ball. The evening started with a private dinner emceed by NBC's Luke Russert, followed by a ball where guests enjoyed cocktails and dancing. More than $600,000 was raised for the Corey C.
