Participants will sample the rich poetry of the Book of Psalms as they prepare for spring. Written and revised from ancient times, these hymns express the great variety of human experience: from lament to praise, suffering to thanksgiving, both personal and national. Dale Erickson, retired pastor of the ELCA and member of Faith, will facilitate the discussion of a wide selection of the 150 psalms, which have nourished individuals and worship assemblies for generations.
