Join other like- minded students who love art as much as you do. It's a monthly get-together – bring what you are working on or start something new and enjoy discussions with professional artists. Thursdays, Jan. 29, Feb. 19 and March 5 WOW hosts "Steps to Financial Freedom" Where: Ozaukee County Workforce Development Center, 5555 W. Highland Road, Mequon Cost: Free The Waukesha-Ozaukee- Washington Workforce Development Board announced its partnership with GreenPath Inc., offering financial literacy workshops across the three- county area. Participants will receive practical information on how to build a brighter financial future and more. Training components of the workshops include budget basics and development; use of checking, savings and payment cards; second chance bank accounts; differences between and use of secured and unsecured credit cards; credit basics including how to read a credit report and build, manage and repair credit; fixed income management and more. Friday, Jan. 30 Drink & Draw at the Museum Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Where: Cedarburg Art Museum, W63 N675 Washington Ave., Cedarburg Cost: $20 per class Relax with a glass of wine as some basic drawing and perspective principles are explained. First glass of wine is included, additional glasses are available for $5 each. Then, you'll be sent off to capture the ambiance and inside architectural details of the CAM. Bring your own easel or use one of the museum's chairs to sit and sketch. This is great for beginners, and a chance to review and be part of the group for other drawing levels. The instructor is Erin Callahan Blum. Saturday, Jan. 31 Port Washington's Winter Farmers' Market Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Where: First Congregational Church, 131 N. Webster St., Port Washington Local food in every season! The chickens are still laying eggs. The salad greens are so leafy and crisp. The onions and garlic are packing spice. The apples and squashes are getting sweeter by the day. Live music, local artisans and hot lunch items are also available.
