Parade starts at 6th Avenue & Washington & proceeds East to downtown and then continues South on Wisconsin Avenue to 7th Avenue. The Cedarburg Cultural Center and Ozaukee County Historical Society are pleased to present a joint exhibition, "A Winter Walk Through The Past," on display at the Center December 4, 2014 through February 1, 2015. Join us for a look at how our forefathers made the best of Ozaukee County winters from the late 1800s through the 1920s. You will share in the joy and hardships of winter through photographs, textiles, toys and more. A free public opening reception will be held on Thursday, December 4 from-8 pm including a special Fireside Chat at 7pm, led by former Cedarburg Mayor, Jim Coutts. Complimentary wine and desserts will be served. The Center is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 10 am-5 pm, and Sunday 12-4 pm. The Center is closed on Monday. The galleries, classrooms, and restrooms of Cedarburg Cultural Center are wheelchair accessible. The mission of the Cedarburg Cultural Center is to provide a gathering place to celebrate community, arts and local heritage. "A Winter Walk Through The Past" Exhibit at the Cedarburg Cultural Center CHRISTMAS AT THE LEGION Saturday, Dec, 6th 8:00 am-3:00 pm Landt-Thiel American Legion Auxiliary Unit #470, 601 W. Dekora Street (Hwy 33) in SAUKVILLE, will hold its 3rd Annual CHRISTMAS AT THE LEGION CELEBRATION. The event includes the sale of Christmas Cookies, homemade crafts, soup and sandwich lunch, and the Auxiliary's recently published Cookbook. Please stop in for lunch, and purchase those specials gifts for those special people in your life. • CALENDAR OF EVENTS • Wednesday, Nov. 26 Makerspace: Literary Ornaments Time: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Where: Cedarburg Public Library, W63 N589 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg Cost: Free Join in the fun of creating literary-themed ornaments for our library Christmas tree. Make one, take one! Come get in touch with your creative side! Supplies and sample projects will be provided but feel free to bring your own supplies if you prefer. This program is open to all ages.
