November 26, 2014 Ozaukee Guide Extra Value Cedarburg Holiday Tree Lighting Set for Dec. 1 CEDARBURG — The Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce will once again ring in the holiday season by hosting the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m, Dec. 1, at the Cedarburg Community Center. This free family-oriented evening offers a wealth of holiday entertainment and activities, capped off by the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus via horse- drawn carriage, and the lighting of Cedarburg's community tree. As families wait for Santa to arrive, take time to peek through the window of Santa's beautifully decorated workshop, located in front of the community center. Attendees are invited to start off the evening by warming up inside the community center with a free cup of hot chocolate, accompanied by complimentary holiday cookies and cider. On the main floor of the community center, children will be encouraged to write letters to Santa and deposit them in the North Pole-bound "Santa Mailbox." They'll also have fun decorating cookies and assembling assorted holiday make- and-take crafts with assistance from local business people. Wrap up the evening with a 4X6 kid's photo, compliments of Cedarburg's Visual Image Photography Studio. During the evening, children should also make a point of stopping upstairs to visit the "Secret Santa Gift Shop" organized by the Cedarburg Junior Woman's Club. Open until 7p.m., the gift shop is a wonderful opportunity for kids to secretly and affordably shop for holiday presents for their loved ones. No item costs more than $10. While the kids are involved in their numerous activities, the Cedarburg Civic Band will perform seasonal music for everyone's entertainment. Then, promptly at 7pm, Santa and Mrs. Claus will pull up in front of City Hall in a horse-drawn carriage to light the Community Tree. After the magical moment when the community tree is set ablaze with light, Santa will lead families back into the community center for a short holiday program that incorporates the angelic voices of the Cedarburg High School Choir. The evening will end around 7:30 p.m. See Page 3 For Details 1 FREE INDOOR CYCLING CLASS 920-779-6647 www.pellethead.com SAVE 65% ON HEAT THIS WINTER 0% FINANCING AVAILABLE* NO CHIMNEY REQUIRED *C'8;!-28'9;8-$ধ329!66£@W!223;#'$31#-2'&>-;,3;,'89!£'9T&-9$3<2;93868313ধ329W !£(;323(6'££';9-2£-'<3(2381!£8'('88!£$8'&-;W'' 9!£'9!993$-!;'(38&';!-£9W Dale: W9715 State Rd. 96 Green Bay: 1095 S.
