Reporter – Vincennes Sun- Commercial seeks a general assignment reporter with primary responsibility being coverage of county government. Position involves covering meetings, interviewing officials, and developing in-depth feature stories related to county government. Position also calls for covering public schools and small-town activities, writing news briefs, covering political events and elections as well as other assignments as directed by the editor. Publication editor – Purdue University seeks a professional to serve as editor of Ag Answers, a news service partnership between Purdue and Ohio State universities that provides timely, expert-driven agricultural problem-solving information to help Indiana and Ohio farmers better manage their crops, livestock and marketplace transactions. Write and edit stories targeted to a production agriculture audience. Coordinate news stories from both universities and companion multimedia components and post the content on the Ag Answers website and on social media, and create email version for subscribers. May also gather and create multimedia components including photos, audio and video. Coordinate marketing of the service, such as by attending agricultural trade shows, and operate within an annual budget.
