I have to say this issue is probably one of the best! is month's feature interview is a story of remarkable courage and strength to move ahead with one's life after a devastating life event. Belo Cipriani's story, "Blind: A Memoir," chronicles his life after the attack that left him blind. He makes us all realize that what we all take for granted can be taken away from us very quickly. He has lost his gift of sight but he has adjust- ed and is carrying on with his life spreading his message. I know you will enjoy his interview as much as I did doing it. e October issue has a wide vari- ety of other great features. In addi- tion to the great monthly contrib- utors, there are book reviews and film features that you'll enjoy. If you are in the Woodstock, NY area you won't want to miss the Woodstock Film Festival as fea- tured on page 15. is year's fes- tival runs from October 15 - 19, and is packed full of great films, including a number of gay themed ones. It is an outstanding festival right here in upstate New York. With this issue I must make a somewhat sad announcement but one that is part of any magazine's evolution. Due to a number of fac- tors, the print edition of Diversity Rules will be going on hiatus until at least the November issue. An Indiegogo campaign is underway to facilitate the print copy's return as well as to provide funding for some other endeavors. For more information about the Indiegogo campaign go to page 21. I hope you all will spread the word about the campaign and help make it a successful one and help us reach our goal of $5000. With your help Diveristy Rules Magazine will be on track for a healthy long-term future! Diversity Rules Magazine PO Box 72 Oneonta, NY 13820 James R.
