1 1. New York–based Mark Ellwood has written regularly for the Financial Times Weekend, Bloomberg Business Week, and Departures, among others. Ellwood is also the author of Bargain Fever: How to Shop in a Discounted World (Penguin-Portfolio) as well as a seasoned TV host and producer. For this issue of Wynn , he wrote about Steve Wynn as curator. "Have you seen how much unfettered joy a piece of public art can bring a toddler?" says Ellwood. "Those moments alone make it worthwhile to me." 2. Our fashion feature was shot by Giuliano Bekor, a fashion, celebrity, and fine art photographer whose iconic images have graced the covers of the world's top publications. Bekor's influence as a leader in fashion edi- torial and advertising has spread into a growing reputation in the world of fine art. "I always love to stay at Wynn," says Bekor. "I think the service is really excellent. The rooms are spacious, and it's all very comfortable, even better than home. And I really enjoyed working with the Wynn staff. They accommodated all our needs and helped us to make our shoot beautiful. We shot in one of the Wynn villas, which was so beautiful. The high-end designer clothing in combination with the beautiful interior of Wynn was a great fit." 3. New York–based Jennifer Leuzzi has been writing about food and travel for more than a decade. On her last working trip to Las Vegas, she stayed at Wynn for two weeks. For this issue, she wrote our "Food for Thought" story on Mizumi. "During my last trip to Wynn I ate at Sinatra and Bartolotta, and wound up at Zoozacrackers for something almost every day. But I confess my favorite is The Buffet. I love to meet a group of friends and go for a leisurely dinner of crab legs and cake.
