Post Staff WAUKESHA — A Milwaukee man was charged with felony operating while intox- icated after police allegedly stopped him with two small children in his vehicle on Oakton Road in the City of Pewaukee. Antonio G. Scaffidi, 39, of Milwaukee was charged with a third offense OWI stem- ming from an incident on Sunday, in which a sheriff's deputy gave him a preliminary breath test that registered .14, according to the criminal complaint. He was allegedly driving southbound at approximately 10 p.m. on Oakton Road when an officer had to swerve to miss him as the white pickup truck he was driving veered across the center double lines on a large curve. According to the complaint, the officer observed two small children in the car and Scaffidi said he had been at a friend's house "and had a couple of beers through- out the day." If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in prison, $4,000 in fines and the loss of his driver's license for a maximum six years.
