Post Staff MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Domes Art Festival will be held Aug. 15 through Aug. 17 at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Domes, 524 S. Layton Blvd. The event will feature 10 performing artists on the cultural stage, including musicians and dancers from the Midwest. Some of the well-known names are Ivy Spokes, Jessica Brown, Transcribing Dance Company and Milwaukee Metropolitan Voices. The festival also will include over 60 juried artists plein air painting and their works for sale, smoked and pulled barbe- cue, beverages and a future artists chil- dren's area. The event runs from noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 15, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 16 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 17. The cost is $9 and includes admission to the festival and the Domes, as well as parking.
