Ethan Clement, Crystal Early, & Kayla Rodriguez I love PERFORMING ARTS because... Newsworthy Seniors Kyle has been involved in numerous PAC events and performances. In his junior year, he performed in "A Cinderella Waltz". In his senior year, he performed in the plays "Laughingstock" and "Once Upon a Mattress". His involvement in drama has afforded him the opportunity to perform in several scene nights. Kyle has been involved in show choir for his past two years in high school as a junior and senior. This has entailed numerous activities such as singing valentines, Christmas caroling, and competition this year in Vallejo. Kyle will be attending University of the Pacific in the fall. He will be studying education and theater. Ian Borchard has been illustrating and creating art from the beginning of his childhood. He has been enrolled in Mr. Hendricks's art class for the past two years of his high school career. His biggest accomplishment so far has been the completion of his AP Studio Art final portfolio, which is the determining factor of the class's grade. Ian will be attending Shasta College in the fall, and he is planning on majoring in Liberal Studies, that requires art courses. He aspires to become a teacher as a long term goal. Ethan Clement, Crystal Early, and Kayla Rodriguez are all members of the Spartan Club. They have all contributed an immense amount of hours worth of community service, ranging from the Freshmen football game snack bar to gathering recyclables at school. They will all be attending TALC (Tehama Adult Learning Center) after they graduate. There are various jobs available from involvement with the learning center, including manufacturing and distributing dog biscuits at The Barkery and serving coffee at the hospital. Red Bluff High School congratulates these seniors for their community service and for committing to continue their education after high school. Taylor Collins grew up on a ranch, and has been a member of 4-H since age 5. Through 4-H, she has shown horses and been involved in fair. In high school, she became a member of FFA and she is now beef ambassador. She is planning to attend Shasta College in the fall, with a major of Agriculture. She will also be studying Ultrasound technology for animals. She has received a substantial amount of scholarships pertaining to her commitment and interest in agriculture, and her success as a leader in high school is related to her success in her career path of choice in the future. Lily Fryer and Selena Rosales have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. Lily has been an intern for NASA for the past two years of her high school career. She is the president of the Spartans Go Green club. This year, she was a member of the Italian exchange. Over the last summer, she interned at Lassen Volcanic National Park as an Interpretive Intern Park Ranger. Lily will be attending UCLA in the fall, where she will major in International Relations. Selena is the president of Latinos Unidos, a national club that represents and celebrates the High School Latino community. She is also the ASB Latino representative in Student Government. She is attending CSU Chico in the fall, where she will be majoring in Engineering. "it has the ability to make the audience feel something."
