Bucherer, Christophe Claret, and A. Lange & Söhne. "Wynn & Company caters to some of the most discerning, demanding, and affluent customers in the world," says Phil Ogle, commercial director for Christophe Claret. "This clientele seeks creative luxury and dynamic innovation, and Wynn knows how to bring that aspect to its customers. This is an unparalleled retail environment." In fact, Ogle says, Claret has developed such a strong relationship with the resort that many of the brand's firsts are earmarked for the store. At the recent Baselworld 2014 watch exhibition, the company unveiled two of its most innovative, technically advanced timepieces— Margot, built in a limited edition of 20 pieces, and Maestoso, limited to just 18—and Wynn & Company Watches will get at least one of each. Claret, which produces technological masterpieces only in small num- bers, has sold multiple $300,000 watches and even an $800,000 watch at the store. "A lot of these timepieces are works of art," says Hedy Woodrow, senior vice president of retail at Wynn. "Christophe Claret's Margot is a unique timepiece that is very appreciated by women aficio- nados. Last year, we started to work with the brands so that we have an outstanding selection and assortment at Wynn for women who appreciate those sorts of complications and pieces," she says. With such a singular product, brand executives often visit the store to make personal presentations to customers alongside store managers, and unparalleled customer service is standard. "We have flown sales associates to deliver timepieces," Woodrow says. "When someone can complete a sale by delivering that timepiece, then unwrapping it, fitting it, and answering any questions about the watch for the guest, we do that, because it's about the relationship." Wynn & Company Watches works closely with Bovet, which makes fewer than 2,500 timepieces annually, to secure a premium selection of these rare watches. According to Raffy, "There is constant commu- nication between Bovet and the Wynn & Company executive staff, with consistent visits to the property to replenish the collection as well as to entertain customer requests and needs from the true collectors." For the retailer, the appreciation is mutual. "Their business has been on fire—a strong influx of South Americans who seem to covet the brand may be contributing to this—and because of that we have done a bit of repo- sitioning them in the store," says Woodrow. "Bovet is incredible for us because they are constantly looking at our merchandise assortment and will work with us by trading pieces out so that their assortment is always fresh and appealing to our clientele." In addition to the thoughtful watch selection at Wynn & Company Watches, Wynn and Encore host a superb group of brand boutiques on the esplanades. Among them are Graff, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard, Dior, Wynn attracts guests who can purchase anything in the world and who know they'll always find something unique here.
