The March inventory level was 6.7 months, which could be a sign of a very healthy spring market, the GMAR said. However, the GMAR pointed out that if the 1,726 listings with an active offer are subtracted from current listings of 8,759, the inventory level drops to 4.8 months. Nonetheless, the GMAR is optimistic that an increase in listings should fuel a robust spring and summer market. "As the thermometer rises, we will see more listings added to current inventory in anticipation of a busier market in April. The cold weather just pushed off the start of the busy season by about 30 to 45 days," the GMAR said. www.gmar.com continued from Page 1 Post Staff MILWAUKEE – Herb Kohl, the longtime Milwaukee Bucks president and owner, announced Wednesday that he has entered into a signed purchase agreement to trans- fer ownership of the Bucks to hedge fund executives Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry. Under the terms of the agreement Edens and Lasry have agreed to buy the team for a total purchase price of about $550 million. The former U.S. Senator also announced that he is pledging $100 million toward the development of a new arena for the team. In addition to honoring Kohl's requirement that the team be kept in Milwaukee, the new owners have committed to contribute at least an additional $100 million toward the development of a new arena in the city. "My priority has always been and will continue to be keeping the Bucks in Milwaukee," Kohl said in a Bucks release. "This announcement reinforces that Milwaukee is and will continue to be the home of the Bucks. Wes and Marc agree, and they share my commitment to the long- term success of this franchise in Milwaukee." Edens and Lasry jointly stated in a release: "The senator has provided the Bucks with nearly 30 years of dedicated stewardship, and we are very excited to join Bucks fans, the city of Milwaukee and the NBA to build the long-term success of this franchise." The sale must be reviewed and approved by the NBA Board of Governors. Bucks announce sale of team ONLY AT April 16 to April 22 2201 E.
